Greetings, my name is Trent and I'm on the "How To" team here at Mahalo.
I'm a Los Angeles native who spent some time in Utah (don't ask) during my early years. I earned my BA in Journalism from The Beach, or Long Beach State as the kids like to call it. I was the Managing Editor for the Daily 49er, which landed me an internship at the Daily Breeze where I covered prep sports. I was a Production Accountant at Paramount Studios and a salesman at Moldings Unlimited. That's right, the Moldings Unlimited.
I heart Mexican food, the Lakers, Yosemite, Radiohead, U2, German chocolate, my family, and wearing shorts in January. My mom was a flight attendant, so I've been blessed with ability to travel throughout my childhood. I spent time traveling through Turkey, Scotland, Ireland, Italy and Germany (not to mention all over the United States).
Working for Mahalo is very exciting and it allows me to put my journalism background to good use as a "How To" writer. My favorite How To creations thus far are How To Train For Your First Marathon (Even if You're Out Of Shape) and How to Make the Perfect Omelet. I look forward to writing more useful How Tos and seeing Mahalo thrive.
