Zoe Margolis is a British writer who has chronicled her sex life since 2004 on the blog Girl with a One Track Mind, under the pen name Abby Lee. In a June 8, 2008, article published in The Guardian, Margolis writes that her success as a blogger and author have spoiled her love life in London, and that she is relocating to New York City.

Vexed in the City
In the Guardian article, Margolis describes how the the loss of her anonymity in London has made it impossible for her to have successful relationships. Men she would meet are self-conscious about her vocation, worried that they would be negatively portrayed in her writing. On the other hand, those men who are fans of her blog tend to make her uncomfortable: "Because of their massively intimate knowledge of me, I felt there was no foundation on which to build an equal, healthy, romantic relationship,"3 she writes. Margolis ends the piece noting that she is planning on "looking for, and finding, love in the Big Apple ... and writing about it, of course."3
