Zeng Jinyan
Zeng Jinyan is the wife of Chinese activist and dissident Hu Jia. Jia was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison in April 2008, for "inciting subversion of state power."
The group Chinese Human Rights Defenders reported that Jinyan disappeared on Thursday, August 7. They released a statement saying that Jinyan may have been "taken away to ensure that no journalists will have access to her and that she will be unable to speak out about Hu Jia during the games."
