The Emmy Awards 2008 was held on September 21, 2008 in Los Angeles. Critics such as journalists and bloggers started discussing the best and worst dressed the moment the stars stepped on the red carpet. Some of the least popular dresses in 2008 was a white dress by Christina DeRosa which was called "shockingly bad" and "horrifying"12 and Eva Longoria's flapper girl dress with a large bowtie which was called "dopey-looking". 3Bloggers speculated that Eva Longoria, who is surrounded by pregnancy rumors, wore the distracting dress to hide her baby belly.4
