WoW Realm Status

This page contains up to date information on the status of all of the different World of Warcraft "Realms". Because millions of people play World of Warcraft, the game world is divided into different realms where a few thousand players populate the entire game world at any given time. You will choose your realm when you create your character, and can only interact with other characters in your realm. Different realms allow different types of behavior. For instance, some realms are "PvP," meaning they allow play-vs-player combat, while others are "normal" and do not. Each realm will be offline occasionally due to scheduled maintenance or other issues, so check back to this page to see the status of your World of Warcraft Realm.
