Windows Vista Media Center
Windows Vista Media Center is a media management center for home movies, music, and photos. Available in Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Vista Ultimate, the media center can be accessed using either a mouse and keyboard or remote control. An optional tuner turns the Windows Vista Media Center into a full-featured DVR, allowing users to watch, pause and rewind live TV.1 On October 1, 2008, Microsoft added the MSNBC News Beta application to Windows Vista Media Center, allowing users to browse and watch news and weather.2
