On June 17, 2008, a small plane crashed shortly after taking off from an airport in West Carrollton, Ohio. The plane's wreckage could be seen near a house in what appeared to be a residential area.1
Reports from the scene indicated at least one person had been killed in the crash. A second victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.2
