Wasilla Assembly of God
The Wasilla Assembly of God is one of over 12,000 Assembly of God churches in the United States which formed from the pentecostal revivals of the early 1900's. Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin was a member of the Wasilla Assembly of God.
Palin was baptized at the Wasilla Assembly of God when she was 12 years old and has attended the church for most of her adult life. Although she became a member of a nondenominational church in 2002, Palin continues to worship at a related Assembly of God church in Juneau.1
