On August 25, 2008, ABC announced Sapp is a contestant on Dancing with the Stars season 7 and is paired with Kym Johnson.2

NFL Career
Warren Sapp was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1995. His first Pro Bowl appearance came in 1997 after he racked up 10.5 sacks during the regular season. In 2002, Sapp had 7.5 sacks and two interceptions while helping the Buccaneers reach the Super Bowl against the Oakland Raiders. The Buccaneers beat the Raiders 48-21.
In 2004, Sapp left Tampa Bay as a free agent and signed with the Raiders. He played four seasons in Oakland before retiring after the 2007 season. Sapp finished his NFL career with 96.5 total sacks.4
