Warith Deen Mohammed
Warith Deen Mohammed was a leading voice for African-American Muslims in the United States. The son of Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad, W. Deen Mohammed often spoke about the rhetoric of anti-white Muslim teachings, supporting a more tolerant form of Islam. Mohammed passed away on September 8, 2008.
