History
Vogue was founded by Arthur Baldwin Turnure in 1892. It was bought in 1909 Conde Nast and transformed from a weekly society paper into a bi-monthly magazine. Today, Vogue has become synonymous with high fashion and high society. 1
Anna Wintour, the current editor-in-chief of American Vogue, is known throughout the fashion industry as a trend setter and fashion icon. Wintour has been the the editor-in-chief of Vogue since 1988. She also oversees Teen Vogue, Vogue Living and Men's Vogue.2
