Tennessee Unitarian Universalism Shooting
July 27, 2008: A man wielding a gun shot two people dead and injured five others at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. Jim Adkisson was arrested at the scene of the crime and charged with the shooting. Police found a letter written by Adkisson in which he expressed anger over his financial status and stated that he hated liberals.3
