Too Human Spiders

In Too Human, each class has access to a mobile support robot called a spider. They are able to assist the player in battle by performing a variety of offensive or defensive functions that include deploying protective shields, healing other party members and firing on enemy units with its turret gun or concentrated laser cannon.¹

The spider was presented as a gift from the Norns to the Norse god, Baldur, the main character of Too Human who is tasked with defending humanity from the machines. Once the player has invested skill points into a spider ability, they can summon it by pressing Y on the game pad.²
