Todd Rogers
Professional beach volleyball player Todd Rogers was selected to join the U.S. Olympic volleyball team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.1 Rogers and partner Phil Dalhausser won a gold medal in the men's beach volleyball event on August 22, 2008.2

Volleyball Career
Rogers joined the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) in 1995, while attending the University of California, Santa Barbara.4 In 1997, he was named the AVP's Rookie of the Year. He joined his current partner, Phil Dalhausser, in 2006.1 They won the AVP Crocs Cup Championship and were selected as the AVP Team of the Year in 2007. Rogers is also a four-time AVP Best Defensive Player, the 2006 AVP MVP and the 2006 AVP "God of the Beach."5 Additionally, he served as an assistant volleyball coach at the University of California, Santa Barbara from 2000 to 2005.3
