About the Director
Keaton is a well known American actor who began his career as a stand up comedian and then cameraman, but soon found his love for acting. In 1982 Keaton hit the big screen as a morgue attendant in Night Shift and soon found himself in a series of comedies including Mr. Mom, Johnny Dangerously, and Beetlejuice. Keaton's career continued with a dozen other film credits crossing genres between suspense and drama. The Merry Gentleman is his first time directing.
Reviews
"Certainly not a breezy little laugh riot, a warm-hearted love story, or an action-packed hit-man adventure, The Merry Gentleman is content to be a straightforward "people" story, albeit one with a little more brains than usual. " -Cinematical
