Guide Note: At 4:51 a.m. on April 7, 2008, a 3.7 magnitude earthquake hit Southern Texas. There were no injuries reported. The epicenter of the quake was located 45 miles southeast of San Antonio, with a focus at a depth of just over three miles. The last time Texas recorded an earthquake was in the city of Amarillo in 2002.
