Team Darfur

Team Darfur is a group comprised of international Olympic athletes who hope to draw attention to human rights violations in Darfur, Sudan. The group was co-founded by Olympic speedskater Joey Cheek. On August 5, 2008, the Chinese government revoked Cheek's visa, barring him from attending the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.^{1 2}
