Taneshia Butler, along with Karsheika Graves, was shot to death while sitting in class at Louisiana Technical College on February 8, 2008. Taneshia's Sister, Tont, also a student at the school, was across the hall in another class, and heard the shots fired. The motive of the shooter, Latina Williams, is unknown.
