T-Pain, short for Tallahassee Pain, is a Florida-based Hip-Hop and R&B; singer and producer. To help create his style he uses the auto tune effect. T-Pain won his first award for the Kanye West song "Good Life." His first single was "I'm Sprung", which was released in August, 2005, was off of his Rappa Ternt Sanga album. It followed in November. His second album, Epiphany, went platinum. His current album, 3 Rings, is slated for release in September, 2008.
Over the course of his career T-Pain has worked with artists like Mike Jones, Yung Joc, Akon, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, R. Kelly, Bow Wow, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Ray L, Usher and Britney Spears.
T-Pain's other singles include "I'm N Luv," "Buy U a Drank" and "T-Pain Song Bartender."
