Guide Note: Sweet Nothing In My Ear is a television movie about a family with one hearing parent (Jeff Daniels) and one deaf parent (Marlee Matlin). They child Brian is born hearing but ultimately loses his ability to hear. When the father suggests a cochlear implant for the son a rift forms in the marriage ultimately ending the family in divorce court.
