Super Monkey Ball is a video game developed by Other Ocean Interactive. Originally an arcade game and later released on several systems including the Nintendo GameCube, Super Monkey Ball was released for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch in 2008 a few months after being introduced at the iPhone SDK release event on March 6, 2008.¹

The game uses the iPhone's built-in accelerometer; by tilting the device, the player controls the direction and speed of the ball's movement. Super Monkey Ball offers three different game modes for players to try including Main Game, Instant Play and Practice Mode.²
