Stan Winston
Stan Winston was a four-time Academy Award-winning special effects and make-up artist who worked on some of the biggest blockbusters of the late 20th century, including Aliens, Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park.

Life and Career
Winston moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting, but ended up landing a job as an intern in the Makeup Department of Walt Disney Studios instead. In the 1980s, he began creating special effects for film, and later moved into directing and producing.
