The Space Junk Galaxy is the first level in the Fountain Observatory of the game Super Mario Galaxy. Players must have accumulated nine power stars in order to enter the galaxy.

Space Junk Galaxy Fast Facts

1. Players can collect a total of six stars. There are a total of six missions:
   1. Pull star path
   2. Kamell's airship attack
   3. Tarantox's tangled web
   4. Pull star path speed run
   5. Purple coin spacewalk
   6. Yoshi's unexpected appearance
2. Players can only receive the purple coin star when the Purple Coin Comet is in orbit
3. Players can only receive the speed run star when the Speedy Comet is in orbit
4. The hidden star is located in Tarantox's tangled web mission. Players must feed a hungry Luma 50 star bits. He will then transform into the Yoshi planet.
