Sour cream is a dairy product made from fermented cream. The cream is fermented by using a special type of bacteria. There are many uses for sour cream. It is often used as a condiment for baked potatoes and nachos. You can also use sour cream when baking different types of foods and in salad dressings.

Sour cream can be made at home or you can buy it pre-made at the grocery store.
