Shead James

Shead James is one of the five men arrested in connection with the Indianapolis, Indiana bank robbery, on April 22, 2008. The armed robbery left five month pregnant Katherin Shuffield shot in the stomach. James, along with Joseph Wilburn, Stevan Peterson, Tyrone Daniels have been charged with conspiring to commit robbery. The men were located during the raid of two duplexes. Eric Sims lived in one of the duplexes that were raided, he was arrested on charges of child neglect. Police are searching for the gunman.

Cooperating with police

According to a police report, James helped police identify the other men who were arrested. He also identified the shooter as "Milbrook". He told police that the robbery was planned a few days in advance. James stated that he, Wilburn and the shooter were in a Dodge Intrepid. Peterson was in a blue Honda Pilot. He claims he was let out of the vehicle before the robbery and returned to a duplex. In that duplex, police found evidence, including a rifle, that they say is connected to the robbery.

Katherin Shuffield

Shuffield was shot in the stomach while working as a teller at the Huntington National Bank. The bullet missed her twins, and Sheffeild is listed in serious, but stable condition. The babies did not make it, they died on April 25, 2008.
