Robert Soloway

Robert Alan Soloway is known throughout the internet as the infamous "King of Spam". Soloway was founder of the Strategic Partnership Against Microsoft Illegal Spam [SPAMIS) and Newport Internet Marketing. He was successfully sued by Microsoft in 2005 in a civil suit but avoided paying $7.8 million judgment. He was arrested on criminal charges May of 2007. On May 14, 2008, Soloway plead guilty to charges of fraud; fraud in connection with e-mail and tax evasion. He is facing 26 years in prison. Soloway will be sentenced on June 20, 2008. Fast Facts:
