Rhona Reiss

Rhona Reiss is a former call-girl who worked for Washington, DC madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey. Reiss, who holds a doctorate in occupational therapy from the University of North Texas, first began working as a prostitute at the age of 56, after answering an advertisement placed by Palfrey in a local D.C. newspaper.

On April 9, 2008, Reiss testified at Palfrey's trial that performing illegal sex acts with clients was expected, even if a clause in the escort contract said that any employee caught engaging in illegal activity would be terminated. Reiss told the court that her understanding of the wording of the clause was that as an escort, she shouldn't "get caught" doing anything illegal, but was expected to engage in sex with clients for money.

On the same day, an active lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy, Rebecca Dickinson, testified that she had also worked for Palfrey's service. Dickinson is currently on leave from the Navy. Fast Facts:
