Critical Response
- "Bedingfield’s second U.S. release sticks mostly to love odes and peppy self-help bromides, which occasionally veer close to Colbie Caillat’s lake of goop." - Blender
- "Bedingfield doesn't have much to say. But the packaging in which she wraps her openhearted thoughts makes 'Sunshine' a decent little pop record. " - Rolling Stone
- "[I]t's disheartening to hear the girl who, on her last album, made a track as giddy and idiosyncratic as 'These Words'... be shoehorned into the bland platitudes and studio-spit-shined hooks..." - Entertainment Weekly
