The Pittsburgh Panthers carry a record of (26-9) and earned a NO. 4 Seed. They are coming off a Big East Tournament Title victory over the Top Ranked Big East Georgetown Hoyas. It was only their second Big East Title ever. They did it with intense defense, and impressively outrebounding the Roy Hibbert led Hoyas. It was an excellent end to the regular season for Pittsburgh, as they now seem to be peaking at the right time, with definite momentum and confidence carrying them into the tournament. The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles carry a record of (24-8) earning the NO. 13 Seed going into the Tournament. They carry a little momentum themselves with a third straight Summit League tournament title.
