Pimento Cheese

Pimento Cheese

Popularized in the American South, pimento cheese is a combination of cheddar cheese, mayonnaise and peppers.¹It is commonly served as a spread on crackers or in a sandwich but may also be enjoyed as a baked potato topping, as a dip, or on hot dogs and hamburgers.

The pimento cheese sandwich is a tradition at the Masters golf tournament held annually in Augusta, Georgia.
