Perry Price, a 46-year-old man from Texas, died in hospital from blood loss after he was accidentally shot by his dog in a hunting accident.

The Incident
Price had reportedly just shot a goose and was about to let the dog, a Chocolate Labrador Retriever named Arthur, out of the back of the truck to go retrieve the goose. Price set his gun down in the back of the truck, where the excited dog reportedly jumped on the gun, causing it to go off. The bullet punctured the truck's tailgate before hitting Price's thigh.
