The Peking University Gymnasium indoor arena will host Table Tennis events for the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics in Beijing. 2008 will be the first time that Table Tennis is held at its own specific venue.1 Table Tennis events will be held from August 8 to August 20, 2008.1
The Peking University Gymnasium covers 26,900 square meters and has seating for up to 8,000 spectators. It includes a natatorium and eight tables for competition. After the Summer Olympics are over, the gym will be turned into a facility for basketball, volleyball, handball and various other sports.1
