OutKast
OutKast are a Rap duo from Georgia. Consisting of Andre "Andre 3000" Benjamin and Antwan "Big Boi" Patton, their mixture of rap, funk, jazz and other elements has made them both a critical and commercial success.
OutKast made their debut on the TLC remix of the song "What About Your Friends." They went on to release their debut single "Player's Ball" in 1993. Their debut album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik released in 1994. Since then the guys have gone on to record several more albums and accumulate 6 Grammys and numerous nominations. They've accumulated hit singles like "Hey Ya!," "Bombs Over Baghdad," "Ms. Jackson," "So Fresh, So Clean," "Land of a Million Drums" and "Roses."

Idlewild
Idlewild is a film by both members of OutKast. It takes place in the era before prohibition and is set to a blues-influenced hip-hop soundtrack. It was released on August 25, 2006, by Universal Pictures. The soundtrack for the movie was released three days prior.
Side Projects
Both Big Boi and Andre 3000 have had careers outside of OutKast. Between them they've had solo music careers and appearances on TV and in movies. They both are planning on releasing solo albums before a new album from OutKast hits the store shelves.
