The Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium is one of the venues for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The gymnasium will host handball tournaments for the summer games.

About
Prior to its use for the Beijing Olympics, the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium went through renovations to ensure that it would meet competition requirements. Repairs and reinforcements were made, including improved insulation and energy conservation. The facility was expanded to 47,410 square meters and can seat a total of 7,000 spectators. After the Olympics are over, the gymnasium will be used as an activity center for citizens and as a training ground for Chinese teams.2
