On the December 4, 2007 edition of The View, co-host Sherri Shepherd opined "I don’t think anything predated Christians" and mistakenly indicated that the Ancient Greeks habitually fed Christians to lions. She has previously made other historical and factual errors on the air, including a famous incident when she claimed not to know whether or not the Earth was round or flat.
