Guide Note
The Easter egg and Easter egg decorating are time honored traditions during the Easter holiday. Children often participate in Easter egg hunts as well as dying the eggs themselves. Each culture has its own type and design pattern.
Old traditions consist of dying chicken eggs different colors and drawing or painting different designs on them but as the years progress there has been more focus on plastic and chocolate eggs.
When using real eggs for Easter eggs the left over eggs can be eaten just as boiled eggs, made into deviled eggs or cut up in to recipes that require boiled eggs.
