New York Stock Exchange

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is the largest stock exchange in the world. The NYSE contains 4,000 listed companies representing a combined $30.5 trillion in total market capitalization (as of December 31, 2007). ¹ In April 2007, the NYSE Group, Inc. and the Euronext N.V. merged to form NYSE Euronext.
