My Name is Earl is a television sitcom which airs on NBC. The show stars Jason Lee, Jaime Pressly, and Ethan Suplee. Lee plays Earl Hickey, who was a two bit, small time crook.

Everything changed when we bought a winning lottery ticket. Just as Earl was about to claim his prize he was hit by a car and the ticket blew away. While recuperating in the hospital, Earl decided that bad things kept happening to him because he was a bad person. He vowed that he would strive to become a better man, and made a list of all the wrongs he had done to people throughout his life. It was a long list. Upon his release from the hospital Earl started repairing the damage he had done to the lives of others and found the lottery ticket.

The show follows Earl and his brother Randy as they work their way through Earl's list. Their lottery winnings bank roll their escapades. Along they way they are helped and hindered by Earl's ex-wife "Joy Turner" (Jaime Pressley), their motel maid "Catalina" (Nadine Velazquez, and their friend "Crab Man" (Eddie Steeples).
