Moonlite BunnyRanch
A legal brothel that has been profiled repeatedly by mainstream media, the Moonlite BunnyRanch is located in Mound House, Nevada, approximately 30 miles southeast of Reno and six miles east of Carson City. It is owned by a former customer, Dennis Hof, who reportedly purchased the establishment in 1993 for 1 million dollars. The Moonlite BunnyRanch has been featured in the New Yorker, and on Good Morning America, 20/20 and The Howard Stern Show. It is also the subject of the HBO documentary program Cathouse.
