Main Line Animal Rescue

The Main Line Animal Rescue was founded by Bill Smith in 1997. It is a no kill animal shelter located in Chester Springs, PA, that rescues dogs from Puppy Mills. A team of volunteers work with the rescued animals to help them get ready for adoption. The dogs are given proper medical care, walked, groomed and played with until they are ready to be given loving homes.

The shelter was featured on the April 4, 2008 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Bill Smith put up a billboard asking Oprah Winfrey to do a show about Puppy Mills. Fast Facts:
