Laughlin's Alleged Actions
During the end of the 2007-2008 school year, authorities allege that Laughlin began a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student. The trysts between the two allegedly occurred inside her schoolroom before the beginning of class. Authorities only learned of the incident when the student's ex-girlfriend's mother contacted school administrators.2
