Maker Faire
The Maker Faire is an annual event, sponsored by MAKE, at which readers can participate in competitions, perform live demonstrations and display their DIY projects. The first event was held on April 22–23, 2006, in San Mateo, California. The 2008 event, also held at the San Mateo Fairgrounds, attracted over 65,000 attendees.2
