Tennessee man Chris Barnett is being accused of beating his dog Lucas and then filing his teeth down almost to the gums. A witness say Barnett strike the dog several times with an unknown object, and then use that object to aggressively file the dog's teeth down. He then picked up the dog about chest high, blood coming out of the dogs mouth, and said "See it's alive", and then he threw the dog down on the ground.

Barnett told police that he wanted to teach the dog a lesson after the dog chewed up some chicken wire fencing around the home.

If convicted of Aggravated animal abuse, he could face $3,000 fine and two years in prison.
