Louisiana Technical College

University History
The first college was founded in 1930 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. By 1938, four additional campuses were added. The growth has continued in the decades since, with the 40th campus joining the college in the 1980s.2
LTC Shooting
Nursing student Latina Williams shot two female students in a classroom, then killed herself on the Baton Rouge campus of LTC on February 8, 2008. The victims, Karsheika Graves and Taneshia Butler, were reportedly attending an EMT course at the time of the shooting.3
