After gaining notice in the press as 'Paris Hilton's best friend,' Kardashian made gossip headlines in February 2007 when a homemade sex tape featuring herself and R&B artist/producer Ray J went public. Kardashian at first denied the existence of the tape until it was sold by an unknown party to the X-rated video company Vivid and commercially released. She later received a $5 million settlement from the company.
Fashion and Flashin'
Kardashian owns two clothing stores with her mother and sisters: the medium-high-fashion Dash Boutique, and the children's store Smooch. She launched her own clothing line in October 2007, and posed nude for the December 2007 issue of Playboy.
