Kentucky Earthquake
Guide Note: On April 18, 2008 a 5.4 earthquake rocked the states of Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, and Michigan. The earthquake occurred at 4:37 a.m. 6 miles from West Salem, Illinois. The quake occurred in the Illinois basin-Ozark dome region which covers parts of Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, and Arkansas. The earthquake was felt as far as 350 miles away from the epicenter. Residents of Northern Kentucky felt tremors for 10 seconds.
