Kane Kramer
Kane Kramer is a British inventor who created the technology behind MP3 media devices and downloads.
Kramer claims he originally thought up the idea behind the iPod with his designs for the PIXYS and IXI, music downloading devices which could hold a single four-minute song. Apple has credited Kramer with the invention, but he still receives no royalties from iPod sales. He has worked for Apple as an expert consultant.
