TWELFTH ROUND

  • Jones landed many stiff right hands in the last 90 seconds of the round, but give Trinidad credit for hanging around through the end

ELEVENTH ROUND

  • Jones was the dominate fighter early, but Felix is still hanging around delivering body shots while being backed up - this round to Trinidad

TENTH ROUND

  • Trinidad was the aggressor that round, backing Jones up against ropes several times, but late in round Jones caught him with a stiff left knocking him down. Jones wins another fight

NINTH ROUND

  • Trinidad trying to keep moving away, but Jones is hammering with the power punches, still Jones is leaving an escape hatch in the corner. Jones has won last 4 rounds

EIGHTH ROUND

  • Jones continues to be impressive landing tremendous shots to the head with straight jabs and left hooks. Jones is control of this fight.

SEVENTH ROUND

  • Jones knocked Felix down early in round for a standing 8, and the rest of the round Felix got on the bike trying to stay away from Jones, as Jones dominated

SIXTH ROUND

  • Easily the best round of the fight. Seems like everytime Jones goes to step into another gear, he can't, and Trinidad answers with body shots. Jones wins that round.

FIFTH ROUND

  • Trinidad hit Jones with a low blow, then Jones became more of the power puncher in this round, much more power behind his punches. Still, HBO gives Trinidad that round?

FOURTH ROUND

  • Jones was the agressor finally, landing lots of body shots and starting to absorb Trinidad punches easier

THIRD ROUND

  • Jones was seen visibly taunting Trinidad during corner exchanges, indicating body shots weren't effective - still Trinidad won that round

SECOND ROUND

  • Jones lands some effects shots near end of round, but HBO scores the round for Trinidad

FIRST ROUND

  • Trinidad took the opening round by landing a few more combinations, but both fighters feeling out so far

  • TWELFTH ROUND: toe-to-toe, Mollo tried to rally at the end, but its all Golota
  • ELEVENTH ROUND: Golota getting it done
  • TENTH ROUND: Mollo is having trouble keeping in the fight...
  • NINTH ROUND: GREAT ROUND! Golota with his left eye shut staggered Mollo to the point where he went to the wrong corner at end of the round
  • EIGHTH ROUND: This is becoming a real slugfest
  • SEVENTH ROUND: Golota regaining his touch, has won the last two rounds, but still looks like he's one punch away
  • SIXTH ROUND: GOlota still hanging on...
  • FIFTH ROUND: Mollo in control...how much longer does Golota hang on?
  • FOURTH ROUND: But then Mollo rallies back with several effective jabs to even the fight
  • THIRD ROUND: Golota can't put this guy away...
  • SECOND ROUND: Golota landed several great shots
  • FIRST ROUND: Mollo jumped out with a lot of punches, to which Golota seemed unaffected

Karmazin vs. Bunema

  • Light Middleweight: Roman Karmazin vs. Alex Bunema, 12 rounds
  • TENTH ROUND: Karmazin gets knocked down twice - 2nd time for good - Bunema wins by KO
  • NINTH ROUND: 2nd great round in a row for Bunema
  • EIGHTH ROUND: Bunema won that round, was able to slip the jab and deliver some great combos
  • SEVENTH ROUND: More good action, it seems Karmazin has settled and gotten into rhythm
  • SIXTH ROUND: Still a lot of back-and-forth - HBO has it 4 rounds to 2 Karmazin so far
  • FIFTH ROUND: Good action between both fighters, each landing great combination shots
  • FOURTH ROUND: They both have landed an even number of punches thru 4 rounds - interesting to hear an interpreter in Karmazin's corner between rounds
  • THIRD ROUND: Bunema did the better job of landing effective jabs and combos
  • SECOND ROUND: More of the same, although late in the round Bunema started to land combinations
  • FIRST ROUND: Karmazin is the aggressor so far, but mostly a fell-out opening round

Alexander vs. Corley

  • Junior Welterweights - 10 rounds: Devon Alexander vs DeMarcus Corley
  • ALXEANDER WINS BY UNANIMOUS DECISION
  • TWELFTH ROUND: Low blow assessed to Alexander - other than that, it's all Alexander
  • ELEVENTH ROUND: More of the same
  • TENTH ROUND: Still more dominance by Alexander, although Corley, who handled Miguel Cotto pretty well, finally showed some life
  • NINTH ROUND: Alexander finally draws blood from Corley's nose - Alexander on cruise control
  • EIGHTH ROUND: Alexander continues to significantly outpunch Corley
  • SEVENTH ROUND: Alexander still can't put him away - he's never been past the 7th round in any fight
  • SIXTH ROUND: Alexander is now clearly ahead in every round - continuing to outwork so far
  • FIFTH ROUND: Alexander continues to dominate the fight, but can't seem to put him away
  • FOURTH ROUND: Alexander cornered Corley several times, clearly winning this fight
  • THIRD ROUND: Alexander continuing to dominate despite that annoying Monica Seles type breathing technique he has - good looking southpaw taking it to Corley so far
  • SECOND ROUND: Alexander hit on 35% of his punches
  • FIRST ROUND: Both fighters felt each other out in first round
