John Goodman is an Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning actor who made his name by playing the role of "Dan Connor" on the TV show Roseanne, which ran from 1988 to 1997. He also had a reoccurring role as "House Speaker Glen Allen Walken" on the Aaron Sorkin drama, The West Wing, and has appeared several times as a guest host on the comedy sketch show, Saturday Night Live.

Film Career
Goodman has also appeared in a myriad of films, and often likes to work with The Coen Brothers. He played "Gale" in Raising Arizona, "Charlie Meadows" in Barton Fink, the "Rockwell Newsreel Announcer" in The Hudsucker Proxy, "Big Dan Teague" in O Brother, Where Art Thou? and "Walter Sobchak" in The Big Lebowski.
In 2008, Goodman appeared as Speed Racer's dad, Pops, in the film adaptation of Speed Racer with Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci and Matthew Fox.
