Jessica Alba is an American actress. Her early roles were on television, including The Secret World of Alex Mack and the Flipper TV series. In 1999 she gained some recognition from her role in the Drew Barrymore film Never Been Kissed, but it wasn't until she landed the lead role in James Cameron's Fox series Dark Angel that the world truly began to take notice.

Dark Angel ended in 2002, but film roles in Honey and Sin City established Alba as a fan favorite. Soon she was cast as Sue Storm, (AKA the Invisible Woman) in the Fantastic Four movie franchise, starred alongside Paul Walker and Dane Cook in Into the Blue and Good Luck Chuck, respectively, and continued her foray into comedy, taking on the role opposite Mike Myers in 2008's The Love Guru.

Jessica Alba reportedly gave birth to a baby girl over the weekend of June 7-June 8 2008. Her husband Cash Warren was seen brining food into the maternity ward at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
